The recent retaliatory attack against Israel by the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah has inspired Palestinian resistance parties to show a united front against Israeli occupation.

Leaders representing major Palestinian parties and resistance groups in the Gaza Strip gathered to express their support for Hezbollah's strike against the Israeli military calling for a "joint front" with the Lebanese movement.

At the event, leaders of Hamas, Fatah, Islamic Jihad, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, and a number of others, expressed their hopes for a united effort with Hezbollah against the Israeli occupation.

Hamas commended the move by Hezbollah, describing it as “a natural and legitimate response to Israel's crimes.”
