Israeli occupation & Al-Aqsa Mosque

A view of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in East Jerusalem (al-Quds)

Earlier this month, the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) paid a visit to the Al-Aqsa Mosque in East Jerusalem al-Quds, to urge Muslims to support Palestinian rights at the holy site.

Some Palestinians believe that those coming to visit the city should only come to liberate it from Israeli occupation.

However, others have urged Muslims from all around the world to visit Al-Aqsa Mosque to confirm that this mosque is an essential part of their faith.

In this edition of The Sun Will Rise, we ask whether Muslims from around the world should visit the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
