Experts in the UK are working on new dieting methods to help people lose weight more easily.
Dieters are being monitored by new methods such as a body pod machine, which uses air displacement to calculate how much lean or fat tissue people have. Some patients who are clinically classified as obese have been put on a “Caveman” diet.
The idea behind the caveman diet is to imitate the diet of humans from the Stone Age, which means that food sources revolve around meat, fish, nuts and plants.
Another way doctors are helping people to lose weight is by putting them on a so-called fast diet. The system allows people to eat what they like five days a week, but food is restricted on the other two days.
