Press TV has interviewed Mohammad Marandi, a professor at the University of Tehran, to discuss the consequences of an attack by the Israeli regime on the occupied Golan Heights which led to the deaths of six members of the Lebanese resistance movement, Hezbollah, and a commander of Iran’s Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC).

Marandi says sooner or later Iran would respond to the attack, adding, as time passes it becomes more obvious how stupid Tel Aviv was to carry out such a strike.

Israelis have put themselves in a very difficult situation because even the western governments that support their crimes in Gaza have no excuse to defend the recent attack, Marandi underlined.
