Modi's anti-Muslim hate speech sparks outrage in India amid elections

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is facing accusations of "hate speech" against Muslims after he made controversial comments against the minority group amid ongoing general elections.

The country's main opposition party, the Indian National Congress, says Modi is “blatantly targeting” Indian Muslims, calling for action against the prime minister.
